Above the Noise

by Ildikó

Ildikó means warrior, which is apt.

A mergers & acquisitions attorney with a love for martial arts, violin and adventure.

This blog is a behind the scenes of Ildikó’s journey of Kilimanjaro and more.

Last year, time stopped

Losing my mother did not just shift my world, it forced a question I couldn't ignore: Am I living my life to the fullest?
I'm a corporate, mergers & acquisitions attorney; trained to operate in precision, control and logic. But somewhere along the way, I realised that playing it safe was costing me something far greater.

So I chose something deliberately uncomfortable: climbing Kilimanjaro.

Above the Noise is where I document that process, the preparation, the climb, the mental rewiring and the shift from operating on autopilot to living with intent.

Professionally, I operate at the intersection of law, banking and strategic decision-making. Personally, I'm exploring what it means to step beyond that. To take on challenges that build clarity, resilience and perspective.
